Yes .. nice bump .. The Midwest scene is still pretty much the same. You don't really need the 5-10 stake to have big stacks at the table. Not sure how often the 'big' game runs at MGM-Detroit. I've heard there's a huge home game that's been running once a week that may be a substitute for some of those Players. TBH there's almost enough action at 1/2-5 at MGM Detroit to make it look like a larger game. There's PLO running at FKeepers in mid-Michigan 2-3 nights a week that is MTS and had a 30k pot last week. With the MSPT coming in May the cash games in that room will continue to peak .. and then WSOP starts up two weeks after that. GL
30k is not enough for 5/10 PLO, especially if you're also paying living expenses out of your roll. 50k is the minimum I'd have as a casual player, 100k if you're gonna do it for a living and pay bills
If you want to play 5/10 plo comfortably as a pro, I would be thinking more on the lines of a 300k roll minimum.

On more than one occasion in the last year, someone has come into Legends with a long rifle. About 2 weeks ago some rabble rousers across the street at an after hours nightclub fired a gun and bullets came through the wall and hit a TV screen. Thankfully, nobody has been injured.
Houston is a pretty good place to live other than no mass transit system, occasional flash flood, and sweatbox summers with 100% humidity.
There are other cardrooms in Houston, but Legends probably has the most volume.
Really though, Houston is edge city. There are really nice parts and not so nice parts and they're interspersed sporadically throughout a metroplex nearly the size of Connecticut.

They're actually running multiple 5/5/10 tables and usually get a 25/50 going. The 25/50 is $2500 minimum, no max.

2 Euro on a 100 pot or even 20 Euro on 1000 pot seems reasonable and def beatable. Of course since PLO should be more large pots which makes it hurt more.
