Hello everyone!
I´m soon moving to Malta to work there and I´m very interested in grinding cash games. I currently live in Sweden where the poker rooms are very limited due to casino laws and also because the fact that I´m currently to young to enter a Swedish casino. Right now I play NLHE 1/1€ and sometimes 2/2€ quite regularly at Poker Clubs, danish casinos and online.

So now to the questions:

Which one is the best casino to play cash games?
Are there a lot of value from fish or just loads of regs?

If you have any info regarding cash games and poker in Malta please reply!
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum, OP. Unfortunately, the last thread on this topic didn't get a response, so I suspect there aren't any Maltese players in this forum. It did mention that there are cash games at "Dragonara and Portomaso" though.

Hey and welcome! Hope you still read 2+2. I am also Swedish and live in Malta. There are 3 casinos here right now, with 1-2 tables running at each at €1/2. The buy-in is €100-€400 and the games usually start pretty late. Dont expect anything to run before 9pm. Also a thing to consider, Malta is really small and the poker scene is pretty small as well. Meaning that cash games are heavily reg infested. Good luck!

I just spent a week in Malta. I played in Dragonara and Portomaso. I played during the week. In Portomaso there was one full (7-handed) 1/2 table. A 2/5 table was opened when I was leaving about 1:30am. Most players were regs, and only a few were recreational players. In Dragonara we played 4-handed table from 8pm till midnight. Regs only, although the players told me there are sometimes weaker players too. They albo said that there is more action in both casinos on Fridays and Saturdays. Dragonara runs a whatsapp channel with current info about open tables, free seat, etc. You can send an email and they will add you (contactus@dragonara.mt). According to one of the players Casino Malta doesn't run cash games anymore.
