Seems like it's tough to find any low to mid stakes PLO in Vegas outside of the world series. I'm talking like 1/2/5 up to 5/10. Sure, there's a game or two at Aria, but that's about it. Apparently pickings are slim in LA too.

I'm just wondering if there are places, maybe in the midwest/south where there is a large selection of PLO games at these stakes that run often.

There's plenty of PLO action in Maryland. Most of the games are five-card.

Chicago area has a few places. Horseshoe Hammond just across in Indiana usually has 1-2 and 2-5 PLO
The charitable games (both Rockford and Chicago) usually have 1-2 PLO, sometimes it's RxR high/high-lo. You have to look at their schedules though and it's handy to call first since they don't use Bravo.

+1 to the Rockford charitable PLO games. I was going to Chicago, and played some 1/2 RxR high/high-lo with a $5 bring in (game was 15 minutes from O'Hare). Stakes aren't huge but no enforced table max so stacks got very big.

Commerce Casino has a juicy 5/5 ($500-$1500) PLO with a $10 rock that pretty much always has a game or two going. ANd with 10k+ stacks on the table too.

Parx 2-2 and 5-5 PLO runs basically every day

There's good low/mid stakes PLO in the Midwest. From Detroit and Cleveland down to Cincinnati. PLO is growing in Columbus, though they still lag behind the others IMO. I've said for the past few years that Cincinnati is the PLO hub of the Midwest.

I live in south florida and there is plenty of great plo action down here. At Hialeah Park there's always more plo tables than NL

Looking at Bravo, there seems to be a few areas with concentrations of PLO.

Florida has a lot of games. The Mid-Atlantic centered around Baltimore/Philadelphia. And the Midwest spread out east to Detroit and Cleveland, south to Cincinnati, north to Milwaukee and Green Bay, with Horseshoe Hammond outside of Chicago as probably the most central location. You might have as many as ten places to play within four hours with a PLO game at least once a week.

I haven't been to Philly/Baltimore. My impression is that Florida has bigger games and is more likely to have preflop shovefests than the Midwest. Some players will want that crazier preflop action. Some players will insist that PLO is a postflop game and prefer fewer all-in preflop pots.

All good stuff so far .. FL is PLO hot bed. Tampa has a particular game that goes 20-25 deep on the wait list every week. The issue you may find in smaller markets (even Detroit/Chicago) is that PLO may not run every day and/or doesn't run a 'long time' when it does open up and the play will vary.

I guarantee that all of you would love to be on the 1/3 'match the stack' PLO table at a 'little' casino called FireKeepers in Battle Creek, MI. There can be $60-80K on the table .. but it only runs Thursday and Saturday (occasionally Fri with somewhat different player pool). The 2/5 RxR in Detroit can get pretty big as well, again .. just not every day.

FL, LA, MD, Philly? would be the 'daily' areas ... Definitely use Bravo App's search option to look for games. Most any casino that's running a decent PLO game will be on Bravo. GL

Anybody know where they play PLO8?

Del Lago in Waterloo, NY has a regular game going now of 1-2 w/5 bring-in. Most of the players are absolutely terrible, with a few good solid regs.

Just not Vegas to many grinders.

Foxwoods has 2/5 PLO every day, often 2-3 tables. Game quality varies wildly. 5/10 PLO about 3-4 days/week. (There was a 10/25 PLO game earlier this week, but that's rare.) Occasional PLO8 games, usually 1/2, sometimes 2/5.

Any PLO games in Colorado? I know that PLO8 goes Fri/Sat at Ameristar( 5-100 spread limit) .
Of course in Colorado 100 Max bet law creates very strange game.
