In the last 4 days in the US overall we have seen less testing and a slight increase in positive tests. This combo indicates a definite rise in Covid cases
Individually I am only tracking about 12 states using 7 day rolling avgs. The past 4 days I see:
AZ: decrease in testing, significant increase in positive test rate %
CA: testing has been fairly constant, slight increase in positive test rates
FL: decrease in testing, increase in positive test rates
GA: testing constant except yesterday which was lower, slight increase in positive test rate except past two days was significantly higher.
MI: slight decrease in testing, slight increase in positive cases (up til now MI has been crushing it.)
NV: Slight uptick in testing, positive case rate % rising
AZ, CA, FL, NV: also have all time highs in cases (rolling 7 day avgs). But it should be noted that these states have much lower deaths per capita than the states below that are doing so well in containing Covid now.
CT, MA, NJ, NY, PA, RI: all time lows in cases and positive test rates. Increase in tests or the same (note PA has significant lows in positive test rate %)
