What would you do if you get dealt 4h4h? What would you do if you get dealt 4h4h?

of course not just stating a fact and what would go through many peoples mind if it happened.

read the whole thread and my post # 38 if you are still unsure.

thanks for coming on the thread though.

Got it, bad reading on my part.

Player looks at cards. Player says, "Hey Dealer, I have two 4's." Decks are swapped out, play continues.

Why would anything else ever go down? Playing out the hand when you know the deck is fouled is cheating your fellow players, plain and simple. Y'all a bunch of degenerate angle-shooting reprobates if you think otherwise.

Why this is a 50 post thread is beyond me.

This happened at least once at FW in the last 10 years, though not hole cards.

Woman I played with had 44 (different suits) and flopped a set (10/20 LHE). Some betting. Then she hit quads with the double suit. Not sure when it was discovered but I think it was at showdown. She didn't realize the problem until another player turned over trip 4's...

Money was returned of course. The woman was not sanctioned in any way.

I told this story and another player had a similar thing happen too. Unlikely that you will get same suit PP pre-flop but can show up in the middle of the hand. Likelihood is that you can feign ignorance and survive with no penalty but that would be cheating of course. And it might depend on your betting patterns especially in a NL game.

And they will spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how the extra 4 got in the deck.

In the above scenario it turned out the player had drawn to see who got the open seat in a broken game and took the 4 with her. She inadvertently threw it on at the end of the hand she was watching and then nobody noticed. Obviously card shuffler wasn't used for that next deal.

With AA we might see an expulsion. Though they would likely go to the video tape to see who introduced the extra A..

That's the beauty of introducing a four after drawing for seats. Nobody will think its in your range to introduce a four to bias the deck.
