Clean unripped jeans with belt, sneakers, good quality tshirt, polo shirt or ironed short sleeve shirt. Extremely standard MAWG clothes, tidy enough that I'm never in the bottom 25 percentile of dress standards...pretty much I want to fly under the radar as far as the casino and other players are concerned.

I wear what everyone else wears, second hand rags from the thrift store (at least that's what is seems everyone is wearing these days).

but seriously, I just try to dress clean when I play live, nothing fancy, no sunglasses, no hoodie (although I do wear a hoodie usually in everyday life, I may be wearing it playing poker, but like a jacket if I'm cold), earphone (one) with nice music

I'd rather be unnoticed than standing out visually at the table, or even look somewhat "threatening"

I wouldn't go hoodie/sunglasses/hat as it's just shameful if you get crushed, which may or may not happen on any given day. And I've seen more than one of them kids go bust after half an hour and go home, tail between the legs.

and I'm definitely not playing at a level where this kind of attire would be justified. (maybe you guys do, in which case, it's just fine )

I know this is a joke but what kind of rules are there about what a player can wear?

For instance, could you wear any of that stuff? I'm thinking a good look would be to wear a balaclava, tinted goggles, long sleeve shirt, and gloves. People won't even know what race I am.

Seriously though, I do have moderate photophobia. Bright lights hurt my eyes and cause headaches after a couple hours exposure. I've been known to attend classes with the sunglasses and hoodie look. People looked at me weird but whatever.

Each room may have tweaks on the rules, but generally you can wear what you want as long as it doesn't disrupt the game. Phil Laak actually got 'movied' up for Day 1 of the WSOP ME one year and then took off the mask after the lunch break. That was a rule quickly put into play the following year.

If I'm going to a 'new' casino I will generally wear one of my Disney shirts and try to avoid a lot of the natural poker player 'moves' (riffling chips, cutting out bets .. et). This will usually buy me at least 2 hours of the table thinking I'm a little weak, but then it's usually just too hard to keep up the act!

Most importantly wear what is comfortable to you. Don't worry about what others think other than how it affects your poker image. I do enjoy my Disney and 3-Bet clothing. Some of it is actually better quality than other 'stores' are offering. IMO it has the same image as someone wearing a sports jersey to a game .. you are supporting the event. GL

I've been considering wearing white contact lenses and a pacifier to intimidate my opponents.

Jeans and a hoodie year round with the leather jacket on standby, only because the poker room feels like the mid-winter Alaskan wilderness at all times.

Usually athletic attire, Gym shorts or sweats and a T-Shirt, almost always bring a zip up hoodie jacket with me as often times these poker rooms are fairly cold.

So I've got this full-face covering hoodie that looks like a Dr. Doom mask when zipped all the way up. There are no eye holes, more of a mesh, but it's pretty easy to see through. So it should be cool if I wear this right? Just in case there are any wanna be heroes at the table, Dr. Doom sitting to play poker with them should be pretty scary. Yeah...

a few weeks ago this guy had one of those hoodies, but it was The Joker instead. Well, everyone at the table was messing with him to zip it up so we could see how it looked (it was pretty cool).......but after a few minutes the floor came over & told him that he couldn't cover his face like that & had to unzip it.

As for me, depends on from where I'm going to play.....

If I'm leaving straight from work, then I wear my work clothes: Jeans & a Polo.

if it's a weekend or I'm going to from from the house, then I wear my usual, everyday uniform: Plain black t-shirt (or similar), jean & converse.

I hate guys in shorts. Especially in the poker room. Just wanted to speak up about it. I myself always wanna disguise and wear something feminine and at the last moment always: **** it, I'm wearing this old t-shirt my ex forgot and these ugly pants I wear to walk my dog. That'll work.

Except my everyday clothes are also jeans & a polo. Sometimes I wear a t-shirt that's green, says "Lucky", and has a 4-leaf clover on it. Because it's my only t-shirt that still fits.
