Florida poker is great. I played with a maniac the other night that 5-bet shoved a $1000 starting stack in with ATo.

Vegas is still the best as far as daily options of games and stakes within a concentrated radius.

Texas and FL have good amount of cardrooms and action but they are geographically more spread out so expect to spend more time driving if you want variety. Players pools will be more static.

Sure there are plenty of grinders in LV but there are also more domestic and international tourists, business and recreational travelers. I would say about 50/50 on average and leaning more towards locals weekdays and more towards visitors on weekends outside of huge conventions.

I haven’t played in about 16-18 months (thanks COVID!), but the games at MGM and MdLive were usually pretty good. Lots of deep pockets in both markets.
