It seems like it's really easy to adjust a name on a waiting list to make it a call-in or hide it (for people who want to move tables) and I'm wondering if all these names are shown on the Bravo website/app or not. Like if I see 50 names on the waiting list for a game, will I have to wade through 50 people or will it be like 10 active names, 30 call-ins, and 10 people that want to move tables?
1) I've never seen where table change requests were noted/logged on a Bravo list .. I have seen where there's a ghost list showing the order on the MM table.
2) There aren't a lot of casinos who pay for the 'premium' version of Bravo which allows for 'call-ins' via the App. I believe within that version you can see the call-ins and thus can determine how many Players are actually checked in v on the way.
3) The Poker Atlas App is much more user friendly than Bravo, but my experience is pretty limited too .. so grain of salt opinion. GL
Hmm, now that you mention it be did ask that. All you can see is the total number of people on the list for each game and the number of active tables in the app, you can't see any details about the people on the list (names or status).
I did some text chatting .. it appears that the latest version of Bravo allows the room to choose what shows on the App and perhaps online. The two casinos we discussed take the opposite approach with one showing the 'total' list number v actual checked in Players. Neither of them show the list like Poker Atlas does where you can see the names, but that might also be part of the 'premium' subscription.
I can see at WSOP where I can add my name to the wait list via Bravo, but I can't actually see the waitlist.
This came into play the other day… I called in and there were 6 on the list and somehow I waited 3 hours to get in the game (plo). The only thing that makes sense is that call ins were ahead of me and arrived before me and the call ins were not showing up on the app.
Historically callins were part of the number shown in the app. I do not have the new app and don’t use the web site.
Locally they do not use Bravo for table changes of the same game or very rarely do. But if you are changing stakes they do put you on the list. These they do put into Bravo and are part of the number waiting. Other places may do it differently
Iíve heard about some places doing this but imo the list isnít supposed to be compromised like this.
It doesn't "compromise" the list. It is listed as a specific benefit on many loyalty programs. It is interesting how you choose to describe this almost as if it is nefarious. Fact is, the casinos offer perks associated with their cards to encourage loyalty. How they manage their poker room lists, or hotel lines or restaurant reservations/seating, etc. is their biz.
In my case my card level jumps me at Caesar's properties (Diamond Elite), Penn National gaming (Elite) rooms and Golden Nugget (Elite). So a 7Stars, Owner's Club and Billionaire level card will bump me at each respectively but seldom are those problems.
These 3 cards probably cover 80%+ of my play though (not sure it they do it) I would like to have similar status at MGM but that is not going to happen anytime soon since wife and I don't visit MGM properties often enough.
