Ugh why would a 3 table poker room put an 8 pm tourney on Fridays?

Any news on the view Royal poker room? I lived in Victoria for years and we had a thriving underground poker economy for a while. The View Royal Casino went full ****** when they closed their poker room. I'm in Asia now, just wondering if they reopened so i can go on my next visit.

I just posted about in the other thread but it's pretty decent. They run three tables of 1/2, 100min 500max. It's near the snack bar has a couple of screens. I suppose a drawback is that it's right next to some dining tables for people that go to the snack bar, could possibly become a bit of a pain in the ass but it's nice to sit there and have a snack while you're waiting for a table.

Can't say much about the floor Staff or dealers yet, but I will say the rate seems pretty high. Although, I don't know what high would be live? I think it's 10% max $8. Would like a second pairs of eyes for that though.

It seems pretty busy every time I've been in as well. All three tables seem to before most nights with a waiting list.

I'm just happy Victoria finally has a live option again.

I haven't been to the Victoria casino for a couple months but stopped by on Saturday night. They've cut down to two tables and were only running one... They've also moved the tables out onto the main floor.
Since opening, I haven't seen a single social media post promoting poker. There are no tournaments. Barely any mention on the website.
Can't help but think that this is designed to fail so they can say they tried it and move on...
Anyone have any special insight?

How is poker in Victoria doing? Do they have live games at the View Royal Casino? I mean with live dealers, not electronic?
