I also loved the commentary from Gabe when Mike Matusow (i think) was picking up a pair of 4's or 5's or something and Jennifer Tilly was railing on the left behind him and bending slightly forward and showing cleavage. The camera only showed Mike and Tilly and Gabe said: "Nice pair for Mike Matusow". Someone remember which season & episode?

It wasn't Tilley it was one of the cocktail waitresses but Tilley was also there
Season 2 episode 1 about 16 minutes in (pocket 8s)
in a hand in season 4 where Hellmuth raised PF with QQ and Farha called with K,7 off and hit a king on the flop, check check flop, sammy bet 50k turn, PH called then sammy bet 75k on the river, PH takes time to think and Gabe comments;
"I tell you, if Phil Hellmuth calls here we will have ignition, he will go through the roof. He'll be playing poker with the Russian Astronauts on the Solar Space Station"
In episode 3 season 5 when eli and peter eastgate were talking about laying down the trip deuces. After gabe goes: "Very understandable conversation between peter eastgate and eli"

hahha, yeah. thanks for remind me on that one. that was great
I really enjoy Gabe. Some of his pop culture references go a bit *too* far back (although maybe the demographic for the show appreciates this) but intuition, scripting, and editing seem to have resulted in the right mix of analysis, comedy, and silence at all the right times on any given episode. I also enjoy their "fourth wall" commentary, noting the times where the show goes off the rails and is no longer about poker either in a positive or negative way.
