Just to make sure, my IKEA comment was a joke.

The rare occurrences I go to bed late, I get up in the morning and take the kid to school before going back to bed.
In Vegas that would probably mean to get up to let the first babysitter in, but then you need a second one to cover from the late afternoon until you get home from playing. Or a very committed live-in nanny who’s willing to work the full day. When I was a kid, our nanny would travel with us to Spain for 3 weeks every summer but mainly to support my mom and make sure nobody was bothering my dad while he was reading his book at the beach..
If you really want the whole family to travel to Vegas, rent a house and maybe pick one or two tournaments that both of you play “together” and have a second babysitter (and an emergency option) on call in case both of you make it to dinner break. The remaining days, one of you plays while the other one spends time with the kids. Otherwise, you’d be better off with the kids staying at their grandparents or somebody else while you and your wife goes to Vegas.
