Why do you want to put your behavior aside? That's the only thing you can control.
You should always begin with a polite, direct request. "Can you please be more careful when pitching the cards?"
If that doesn't work, scale the request proportionally. Second request: "Can you PLEASE be more careful? I don't want to keep having to pick cards up off the floor." Third request: "Please be more careful, I'm calling the floor next time."
Jumping from silence to calling a supervisor should be reserved for egregious violations.
