i rarely tip bj dealers for this exact reason.
most dealers are inept as it is,they're extremely entitled, tips are pooled, they call out checks play etc.
like if you're counting you want fast dealers with good pen who don't alert the pit to your spread. even when you find one like this they still share your money with mostly useless dealers.
nothing barring an absurd tip makes them happy when you win big.
there's also no point in counting if you're just gonna tip away your ev which was why I asked what your actual ev was.
i've dabbled back into card counting this year.overall i'm up about 18k. my best session and worst session were around 3500-4000 each.my spreads have been anything from 50-300 on dd, to 1 hand of 25 to 2 hands of 400 on a 6 deck game (usually spread less than this.)
If on a big session I threw them 100 bucks it still wouldn't be enough so what's the point? They turn over waxed cardboard, generally give terrible bs advice (so they're either stupid or liars), push people to make terrible side bets etc so why am I tipping? That terrible service is supposed to be worth hundreds of dollars an hour in their eyes? It's a joke.
