As for using the additional information you have to try to win the hand, that's poker. lol at the guy being upset at you for not chopping, but you're kind of a jerk for rubbing it in after winning the hand due to the unfair advantage that you gained.
I think OP is helped in two ways: obviously by V1's open fold and then V2 offers up the glass into which he invites Hero to fill with Hemlock, all while saying how thirsty he is...just dumb.

In the extreme case that V1 checks and V2 has any wits he might Hail Mary his last $200 in the hopes that V1 has either missed or a bad two-pair just got counterfeited. Unbeknowst to V2, I think Hero is hard pressed to make a King-high call even with the odds offered as he probably sees it as torched money and can't bluff raise either.

Oviously if V1 crying calls light due to pot/bet size then Hero mucks and V2 should still be okay with going down swinging.

I see people do this all the time. Never seen it done in a big pot, but I see how in this case it helped you out.

Him accusing of colluding is a stretch so I can see why'd you be upset. I personally hate it when I'm wrongly accused of angling or something.

When I see people open fold (or 'check out' as some dealers call it) it's usually cause the person in the moment is mentally saying 'f it I can't win, I don't want to get into any trouble I'm out'
