Dealing some 3/6 limit last night when early on in my down this hand happens. UTG kill pot checks, jerk from early position raises to 12, one of the nicest guys in the whole room in late position calls, along with a couple others. Board runs out something like J9253 with a missed flop flush draw. Jerk bets the whole way and nice guy in late position is the only one who calls all three streets. As soon as jerk gets called on the river, jerk immediately shakes his head and says "you're good bro I got nothing" and nice guy tables KK. Jerk pauses for a bit more and tables AA. Nice guy takes it in stride and doesn't say a word about it while jerk is pompously stacking his chips.

Fast forward to about the middle of my down, jerk gets into a pot with a guy who is visibly tilted and is raising any two cards preflop and is putting money into the pot every street almost every single hand. Flop is AJ3, turn A, river J... any two cards guy calls off his last 4 dollars on the river, jerk looks disappointed and says no way he's good now, any two cards guy didn't learn from the slow roll earlier and tables his J4 offsuit, jerk slams down his pocket 3s and curses the unlucky runout.

Fast forward to almost the end of my down, jerk finds himself all-in for his last 5 dollars on the turn on a K63K board. Other guy is hemming and hawing over a call when jerk says "6 is no good bro". Ultimately guy ends up calling and says "yeah I have a 6 but I gotta keep you honest" and he tables Q6 offsuit. River is another K, jerk stands up and whips down his pocket 3s for yet another counterfeited flopped set of 3s while cursing how much BS this is and how bad his luck is. He leaves and says to hold his seat.

While visiting my brother in Denver, he took me out to Ameristar Black Hawk for an overnight stay. At the time, they ran a 1/2 Spread Limit game where $100 was the maximum bet.

On the day we checked in, I was playing in a game in which one guy liked to bully the table. He played lots of hands and would typically open for something like $20-$25 and then follow-up post-flop with big bets, especially when scare cards would hit. He was also a trash talker and liked to show his bluffs, partly to demonstrate how good a player he thought he was and partly to embarrass the other players for making bad folds.

I had him figured out, and I was playing back at him pretty regularly with a wide variety of hands. On one, he opened for his usual big bet, and I called with AQ, one of my better starting hands against him. I whiffed on the flop, but he continued as expected. Figuring my AQ was probably good and that the turn or river might present other opportunities to take the pot away from him, I called. I spiked a Q on the turn and then proceeded to call down his $100 bets on the turn and river. At showdown, I was good of course, and he proceeded to berate me for calling his flop bet with nothing. Whatever...

Next day, I head back to the poker room and get seated at a table with this same guy. He was pulling the same shenanigans as the day before. On one hand, he opened for $20, and I looked down at QQ. I 3-bet to $60. He tanked a little before folding, but not before a making a few snide remarks.

On the very next hand, he opened for $20 again. I checked my cards, and this time, I had KK. I 3-bet him again to $60, but this time he re-raised me all-in for about $90 total. I called, of course.

He then stood up and triumphantly slammed AA down on the table. As he did so, he said loudly, "shove that up your ****ing ass!"

Without me saying a word, the dealer immediately called the floor and demanded that the floor kick this guy out of the casino. Although that seemed a little harsh to me, I think the dealer was sort of responding to the senior-citizen regs who comprised most of this game and who were generally miffed at the guy, not because he was foul-mouthed, but because he was prohibiting them from seeing a flop for $2.

The floor came over, and I just sat there silently as this guy argued with the floor. However, the floor was insistent that he had to leave for the day. I really didn't care -- I actually did not want him to go because I thought he was a gold mine -- but no one asked me. The floor and the dealer handled everything, and I kept my mouth shut.

The guy then demanded to see the shift supervisor, and while we waited for the shift supervisor to arrive, he tried to convince me to back up his claim that he had never said the offending sentence and that we were friends. I told him that I personally wasn't offended or mad, but if asked, I wasn't going to lie. This ticked him off even more.

The shift supervisor then showed up and upheld the ban. He directed the dealer to play out the remainder of the hand and told the player he would have to rack up and leave after it was over. As it turned out, he did not need a rack because I hit a third King on the river.
