How do they know you weren't on vacation or out of town for work? Taking a break should actually be a good sign that a Player 'knows' to do that if they feel the need.
Unless a Player has shown interest in a credit line, which would be pretty extreme for a Poker Player, I don't think the casino needs to be meddling in 'private' information.
I guess I applaud it, but I also think it's government/business potentially influencing the behavior of a 'free' citizen.
Does a car dealer ask about your job if you're paying cash for a car? They shouldn't .. unless it's actually cash I guess. Laws are laws. GL
This must be because of responsible gaming regulations in UK, and I also applaud it even though I do value freedom..
Not many people have addictions buying cars, but very many people have gamble addiction.
Yes people are addicted to everything, like buying expensive cloths on credit, but in regards to gambling, I think this all in all is a good thing.
In Norway we have underground/unregulated clubs, if these questions were asked and people would have to go through this kind of check, it would be good. At the same time they can login web and blast on slots. Its not an easy topic.
