I'm going on a Caribbean cruise in a month or so and am going to be in St. Martin for a day. Has anyone played Poker there somewhat recently? Just wonder which casino I should go to.

Mostly looking for low stakes no limit or limit.

Been a few years, maybe 2019. Iirc there were not any games during the day. So unless you are overnighting there (which I don’t recall happening) there may not be a choice at all. Of course I may not remember correctly or things may have changed.

Thanks for the info, good to know. I'll have to call a few of them, see if I can find a game.

Though that might save me some money if there's no Poker and I hang at the beach that day lol.

Checked out a few of the casinos that were about 1/2 mile from the beach. None of them had Poker. Diamond casino had table games that started at 4PM, but no Poker. Black jack, craps and roulette iirc. The ship was leaving at 4:30PM, so could stay around for those. Burned some money in the Poker slots. Most of the casinos were just small slot houses.

The ship announced that the french side 'was not safe' because of some protests going on, so stayed on the dutch side. All in all, I thought St. Marten was a neat area. The locals were chatty and mentioned that covid has killed a lot of their business. Picked up some cuban cigars.
