Hi guys,

does anyone know in which casino in the world it is (will be after covid) possible to play short deck live and what limits are present? I really struggle to find this information online.

From what I have seen, in the U.S. anyway, you will need to go to the brush and start an interest list.

Thanks for the info. Have you ever seen it running on a regular basis anywhere?

I travelled a lot in 2018-2019 and never saw Short Deck running. Its was just a fad when it became popular with the high rollers for a minute during the Triton Series. But it definitely never stuck with most players. ACR even added Short Deck for a few months and then got rid of it.

The rule changes from normal holdem probably made it too intimidating for new players.

No, it was a trial for something to do to pass the time.

One of the forums I was frequenting at the time (O8 I think?) had a regular who would drop in from time to time and, at least this was my read, brag about how all he was playing these days was short deck because that's what the high rollers play and he was such a high roller and so forth.

Sorry if that's one of you. I'm sure it's just the fog of memory.

Resorts World Manila was trying to get some short deck running. They called it something else.
