Not saying she doesn't come across as a pain in the ass or a diva with ideas above her station but to say she bad for poker is stupid.

i've seen her do plenty of rude/douchey things. but when you see post after post of OMGGG I HATE HER SO MUCH it gets tiring.

maybe in time she'll become a better ambassador for the game but can't deny it always makes good tv when she's in the lineup.

I guess I not seen her on tv enough but I like her style super interesting and for me the only thing I do care about is watchin people play the game, I don't really care if she put poker in a bad light won't stop people playing or new players joining.

Only people it affects are the ones who noses are put outta joint and make moronic remarks.

I like Vanessa. Not sure why she gets as bad a rep as she does, tbh. A bit hot-headed, but then there's a lot of other players who are as bad, if not worse, and she is a damn good player.

I never said I hated her. I said her behavior was ridiculous for the hand played, period. She's was completely out of line and it seems most people agree on that point here.

Clearly she has a history of doing stuff like that - the J7 vs. AA is a perfect example. And clearly she has a history of getting herself in trouble with stupid play like that, because she says it herself:

"Why do I do this to myself?"

She is clearly a talented player and her style works for her. But she needs to shut up when someone calls her on one of these plays and beats her. That's poker. End of story.

Lol. Didn't she basically dress down some old man for calling a shove near the bubble with Kings or something against her a couple years ago? I know she's had hands where she's absolutely berated amateurs on tv for making calls. This one is fine as much as that guy talked she can say whatever she wants back but to say Vanessa hasn't lived up the whiny table coach role is absurd. Her reputation is well earned. She tells everybody she's better than them and cries. Just as a tv personality she's the new, considerably less witty, P.H. (just comparing tv personalities obv).

My sample size is a couple of tv airings in the uk so you guys prob seen more, that said she has got the demeanor of a brat at the tables stuff like good game n nice hand in a sarcastic tone.

Think most agree she could handle herself better n that she is a good talented pro.

As for why stars have her as a pro can you name any other woman player currently that deserve it?

She better than liv boree, left players like harman and duke behind with there 2005 approach, can't think of anyone who stars could replace her with she is 'the' premier female player on the planet at the moment.
