I've searched a lot of threads and found a little info, some conflicting and all old posts. Does anyone have info on advancing levels through mLife via poker. As of the poker room podium at the Beau, they say it's not possible. Reading on forums I've read Borgata issues tier credits, but nobody else does. I've read you can advance a level playing 50 hours, then to gold in 150. I've read that rooms don't add cumulatively, and I've read that they do. Anyone able to put this to rest for me? I'm at Beau now, for at least the next week and then will be at Borgata for a bit after this. Thanks guys!

Also, apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Thanks!

From what's been said about other Mlife properties in the Borgata thread, that seems to be correct. When Borgata switched to Mlife, the existing treatment of poker players was maintained.

That's mostly not right.

Pearl is 25000 TCs. The max comp per hour at Borgata is $3, and TCs are 112.5 per Express Comp dollar. So at 20/40 or higher limit or 10/25 or higher NL, that's 74 hours and a little to get to Pearl. Gold is another 50k beyond that, another 150 (148 and a little) hours.

Obviously it'll take longer at smaller time games (10/20LHE+, 2/5NL+) or raked games (everything below those).

Ack, thanks. I play 1/2, so I have 112.5 per hour stuck in my head.

So my figures for $3/hour games should have been 111+ hours to Pearl and 222+ more to Gold.

If the goal is Pearl, then spend the few minutes applying for the mLife card...no annual fee and comes with status. Terms and rewards structure leave something to be desired, but it does at least get the Pearl status.

if you are/were in the military (including reserves, national guard, and military spouses) you can get a free upgrade to pearl card with proof of service as well.

Though if the goal is Gold, note that that doesn't get you any closer, you still need to earn 75k TCs.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the info. It appears as though I'm SOL given that I play at varying properties and not just one. :/

I got Gold through playing at Aria a couple of years ago. They started doing it so players wouldn't have to pay for parking. I'm not sure what the hour requirement was but a call to their room should give you an answer if that's an option.

It wasn't a "real" gold though - I had to tier credits and no offers. Just gold status.

I was really hoping to acquire whatever level was comparable to black card at Borgata. The black card lounge buffet was always great.

You can get gold at bellagio thru poker. Borgata too but it is off hand 1000 comp dollars, 75k tier credits.
