Hello, planning on playing some live poker in Prague. Anyone here knows the rake in the Ambassador, Showdown etc.

I cant find any info on the internet about the rake specifically.

Hi, my friends played in Showdown and there is a normally 5% with cap 300 czk what i heard. Planning go play there too. About ambassador i dont have any informations now.

I played at both. Played at Showdown once and didn't like it at all. In a dark room downstairs and has a weird vibe. Did hit their royal flush jackpot an hour in an left, never went back. Play at the Ambassador, it's a much better atmosphere especially on the weekends. People there smoke like chimneys - you will walk out of there having inhaled three packs of cigarettes, but that's the nature of the beast. The rake wasn't too bad - and the games are typically extremely beatable - Czech players aren't the best. Have fun!

14.04 dollar cap, what limit? Isn't smoking already illegal there?

Cigarettes? They are the furthest thing from illegal there, especially indoors. People in the Czech Republic (and in much of Europe) smoke like chimneys.
