Wow weekends only a good idea ... suits me as that's all I play anyway ... wish Hooseirs would get with this program if they can't just open the darn room.

Since they've mastered the virus I really don't understand why no poker in Pence country. I'm done looking in here expecting it to change.

Indoor in their regular room but I don’t think 9 handed. There were plexi dividers and lots of room.

Latest update from Choctaw Durant for any TX/OK peeps is:
Currently open
6-handed
Max 12 tables running at any given time
Masks must be worn over mouth & nose
No plexiglass
Open 24/7
Didn't get any info regarding temp checks
Still seem to be running lots of poker room promotions, but I think at a reduced prize amount from what is shown on their website.

I'll probably go up there this weekend and see if it's a snooze-fest by a bunch of regs knitting socks while trying to double up and jet.

Edit: Tournaments are still prohibited, only cash games.

6 handed. Plexiglass. Masks required and most were wearing correct. No temp scan to enter.

I ran like crud and played my c game but games were not nitty. Lots of straddles both UTG and Button. Loose passive best description of the table I was at.

Well, at least half of it didn't ... Chicago Charitable Games has a decent calendar going into November.

The Bike in LA had a blurb on a YouTube post about outdoor gaming/poker starting up soon. GL

if u go, dont go doing the promo period mon-fri 5-10am when they give everyone $25 per hour, including those on the waitlist. i played there 6 weeks straight last 2 months before i left town when Vince drove me to south dakota. got the $49 poker rate everyday, or a free room playing video blackjack downstairs. and theres so many grinders living there and doing the promos the games are the nittiest i ever seen. its a better game late at night between 9pm and 2am. no one does temperature checks.

at least its not 5 max like Louisiana and Tunica. not been there recently so im glad someone posted the info but u dont want a game with button straddles. nits and tightens it up like a SOB. u need a game with lots of UTG straddles instead, preferably mandatory.

Borgata announced poker is back on Wednesday.

Quote:
The reopened room will have 30 spaced out tables with polycarbonate dividers between every person.

Only live cash games on seven-handed tables will be offered to start, and no tournament play has been scheduled. Borgata’s Bad Beat Jackpot will immediately initiate, giving players the opportunity to lose their hand but win a prize of $100,000.

Beverage service will be available inside Borgata’s poker room, but food will not be permitted.

Masks are required in all public areas of the casino, including The Poker Room.

Hand sanitizing dispensers will be accessible throughout The Poker Room, with frequent disinfecting of high-touch points.

Spectators will not be permitted.

First not all of LA is 5 max. Coushata has been 7 and GN went to 6 right before Delta and suspect they are still there now.

As to the whole Btn straddle debate, I am not at all a fan. But in this case at the specific table I was at it did not appear to kill the game. Had 3 of the 6 regularly straddl8ng the btn and when they were not button, one or two would utg straddle. Two peo0le including me appeared to adjust but that adjustment was to tighten up yes both also increased aggression. Plus these btn straddlers were frequently too frequently checking their option. The sixth was incredibly loose Paige and the btn straddle did not change her style. She ran like God against them. Went from less than 15BB to over 250BB in under an hour. So yes a btn straddle can and often will nit up a table it wasn’t the case this particular time.

I hope and bet that 5-handed will go to 6,7 8 very quickly. Not sure if opening will survive the upcoming onslaught though.
