Jamul casino, about 20 miles east of San Diego, is open. I like the room but before Corona, it had trouble getting many tables going. Places like Sycuan and Seven Mile, got a lot of the action in San Diego county. Sycuan re-opened but their poker room remains closed. Seven Mile is in Chula Vista and not on Indian reservation land, so they haven't re-opened yet.

As to temperature checks at Hard Rock Tampa, I asked a friend who plays there now after moving to FL. She said that they have thermal readers at the check-in desk that you have to go to. So they "secretly scan you."

Yes they are open for sure. I played there on Tuesday.

Masks required (although signage is not consistent - one said it was required for employees, but "asked" of guests, others say they are required for everyone), temperature checks at the door, 6-max, and they require you to sign a liability waiver.

Sweet, thanks.

Yeah, I was wondering if they were doing 6 max or 4 max. I might head there this weekend.

Did they have plexiglass up between players or is it open?

so if they require u to sign a waiver, was this the place that was now asking everyone to give an ID when they entered? otherwise u could sign someone elses name on a waiver insteadof yours. i wasnt sure which casino was doing it, just heard about it. im used to never being asked due to being older.

Choctaw Durant OK poker room opened yesterday. I saw 2 $1-2 NLH and 1 $2-5 NLH games on Bravo. Their website says table games and poker seating is reduced for social distancing, but doesn't say how many are seated at poker table, previously 9 there.

Yes I had to show my ID when I entered. They didn't record anything from it, swipe it, or photocopy it. They just use it to make sure you have a waiver on file.

Talking Stick in AZ is opening tomorrow.

Is any effort going to be made to update the chart in the OP? Would be so cool if so...

updated through 6/3. I suspect there are others not posted in this thread though.

I will do my best to keep all the extra info up to date, but it's a bit of work, so if needed I'm just going to focus on the location and the date.

Ameristar St Charles poker room isn't open. Just the casino. This is their reply when asked on their Facebook page...

Thank you for your interest. The poker room will remain closed during the initial reopening phase. We’re working with Local and State Officials and when we have further information, we’ll be sure to let our guests know. For information regarding when amenities will be reopening, please stay tuned to our social media pages or visit our website at http://ms.spr.ly/6189Tc38h.

from the LVJ:

Three Las Vegas poker rooms are poised to reopen this week.

The Orleans and South Point plan to host games Thursday, the first day when casinos are allowed to open, and The Venetian poker room will follow Friday.

The games will be played four-handed, per social distancing guidelines from the state Gaming Control Board. The South Point poker room said on Twitter that it has asked officials to allow five players per table but has not received an answer.

The South Point tweeted several details Tuesday about its reopening. It said the room would open at 8 a.m. Thursday and stay open 24 hours a day. Games will have a $3 maximum rake (house cut) per hand, plus $1 for promotions.

The South Point also said it would offer single-table tournaments for four players (or five, if allowed) at buy-ins of $60, $115 and $220. Tournaments will start as soon as a table is full.

The Orleans poker room will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight daily starting Thursday, a Boyd Gaming spokesman confirmed.

The Venetian previously said its poker room would be open from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily starting Friday, with a reduced rake and $100 single-table tournaments available.
