FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek, MI has announced the return of 'daily' tournaments starting November 1st.

This is the next step to returning to normal for this room as they hire and train a whole new batch of Dealers. Eventually they will start to have large BI one-day tournaments with their eyes on the return of multi-day mid-major tournaments like the MSPT or similar. GL

Apparently Tioga Downs reopened on 9/1.

All casinos in Las Vegas are currently requiring players to wear masks (except at the Rio for the WSOP where all players are required to be vaccinated). This is due to a mask mandate for all indoor activity by the Governor of Nevada. This will be lifted when infection rates drop but that is not currently happening in Nevada. In fact, infection rates are skyrocketing.

Foxwoods is mask optional for those who have been vaccinated but because they do not verify, very few people are wearing masks.

There is a new $500 tournament at Foxwoods on Sundays. It starts at 11:10am and goes until 12:45am. If not completed, FW will designate the equity chop amounts.

The Wednesday tournament still starts at 4:10pm but has now been officially changed to a Turbo with 15 minute levels. It too ends at 12:45am.

There was hope in Vegas on that Nov 1st would end the mask mandate but I see from Trooper's vlog that they're still wearing them .. so I assume the mandate was renewed. I don't think enforcement in Vegas is super strict, but in a poker room it's a little more obvious than walking around the slots or pit areas.

I know of zero casinos where you don't have to wear a mask unless you are eating/drinking and lots of poker rooms are still banning food at the table.

At the Rio you don't have to wear a mask at the table, but you are still supposed to wear it when moving around the facility. GL
