Hey Guys.
I wonder how you guys write down keyhands at the Live Pokertable.
Im always sitting with a small notebook (with papers) at the Table and write them down. I wonder if there is maybe an app for smartphones or something similar to fasten things up. In addition i dont want my opponents to see what im writing. There was a Time i recorded my Hands with a recorder but that was quite irritating for the others. Any tips to remember Keyhands without writing or if you do so, how do you do that?

Thanks in advance.

You used to speak hands into a tape recorder at the table immediately after they happen? Bold move. I'd have been incredibly irritated.

That said, there's nothing wrong with the pen and paper. I'm unaware of any specific apps, but I just use the basic iPhone note app to record important hands.

Dont know of any apps specifically for recording hands faster. Some people develop their own short hand code to capture stuff quickly. Also you can try using the notes on iphone, and create a list of text substitutions, I think they call it so ifyou type say the letter r, it will put in raise, or whatever you want.

Shorthand in notepad app or text draft.

OP: "Seat 4 log, hand 3. Seat 5 called 2 streets with a weak flush draw and donked river with a pot sized bet when draws bricked. Reads: old white guy, questionable hygiene, cheap shirt. Flats too wide pre, calls too much post, makes bad bluff attempts, tries to stare down like Clint Eastwood when bluffing. He seems to be the mark at the table."
