If you concentrated more on the point, it is one of value proposition. $10 is not a huge amount of money, even for me, but the value proposition is not there even if I was a millionaire. I don't believe in paying for overpriced and underdelivering products. If it was $3-5, it'd be a different story, especially at this point where they don't have a proper archive of content to consume while nothing new is going on.
As for the target audience, I would guess that they aim poker people. That includes me and if they're selling it, they're probably wanting everyone of that persuasion to pull the trigger.
