More profitable? Less lossmaking, more like.
I assume they realised how many subscribers they'd need to cover their costs and didn't see it as a viable option, so they sold it on to someone else.

Ha, exactly. If I were in Vegas grinding/playing the ME I wouldn't need to sign up for PokerGo. I would be living the dream, not watching it for entertainment.
