It's not "perfectly normal", it's considered a disorder and is often associated with deeper issues. I just found it extremely strange to see someone do it while sitting at a televised poker table. I would not like to be seated next to someone who does this. Frankly, I find it disgusting.

This guy at my work used to bite his hands and do the twist with the hand in teeth to tear the skin. We think he was using crystal meth. He and elky have a similar weird vibe as well.
