Heading to Vegas for the first time after cancer surgery. I had to have a colostomy. Due to this I have no control of “passing gas”. There is no odor due to charcoal filters on ostomy bag but sometimes can be rather loud. Should I mention to table when I sit down that I might be a “little noisy” or just point at the person next to me? LOL

Maybe mention it to one of the suits that you have a medical condition just so they are aware of it.

Never be embarrassed if you have a medical condition. There's no need to tell anyone in advance and if someone complains simply tell them that you've had a colostomy and can't help it. If someone is rude enough to complain further I'd call a floor to tell them to stfu.

All of the posts so far are good. I personally would tend to make a joke out of it and make sure everyone at the table is in on it, but I have a messed up sense of humor. Glad you're still with us and congrats on the recovery.

Good one angus. I will have to remember that. I made the mistake of telling the guys at our monthly home game the nickname of the procedure they did on my ass.. a “Barbie butt”. Now I have a new nickname. 😊
