It makes sense since this thread looks more like a "goals & challenge" one than a "casino and cardroom poker" one.

Back from Houston. Ended up not playing poker in Texas. Went ahead and spent the week with my friends relaxing, catching up, and eating amazing food. It was a very awesome trip! My best friend and his fiance asked me to officiate their wedding out in San Diego next May which is a real honor. Life is good.

Back in North Carolina for about 10 days before I hit Vegas October 3-7. Don't have anything else on the calendar quite yet....Pondering a possible trip to Austin mid November to play at The Lodge. Also toying with the idea of a week trip up to MGM National Harbor. Decisions decisions...

In a city the size of Raleigh, there are local poker games. I guarantee it. You just have to find them. Hang out in sports bars and pool rooms to find like-minded gamblers.

I lived in a much smaller city in the south for a few years and eventually found a network of home games in the area. They were incredibly soft beyond my wildest dreams. It was like having a money tree.
