As described it sounds as if they go Flop, Turn1, Turn2, River1 and River2 .. correct?

Even though 'everything' is random, this also would be in contrary to how things are done in other areas of the country where it would go Turn1, River1, Turn2 and River2.

It's a little picky, but this is a picky thread IMO. GL

It goes flop, turn 1 river 1.
Then turn 2 river 2.

The first run out is the original board if it was just dealt once.

This thread is unbelievable.

I'm glad I read it though.

Maybe someday I will be in a big cash game and this will come up and I will know to ask the exact procedure. Or maybe I just won't run it twice...

(my assumption with 8 players would be full board runout and then 2nd full board runout - but I have to admit that I have never seen anybody run it twice before a flop was on the board).

another thing that you might not see in other areas:
threeway pot. two players agree to run it twice. player 3 says once only for him.
player one and two agree that if player 3 does not get any of the pot on the first run, then they will do a second turn and second river for them only.
the dealer pauses after the frst run. if player 3 does not win it, then the second turn and second river is dealt.

That’s something you might see in underground card rooms or other unregulated games.

I can’t remember playing in a legal card room that allowed for players to do that. The only time I remember a player asking about it when he was told everyone needed to agree, the dealer responded along the lines of “because that’s a violation of gaming regulations”.

This is about Houston so it is a non regulated game. As we tip toe up against bar on discussing here.
