I probably wouldn't watch WSOP without this man, I can't watch WPT because they are the most boring mother ****ers ever. Norman chad makes some corny jokes and he just keeps it interesting/entertaining.

Norm is fine. Lon has a nice voice. Vince is funny. Sexton is good. AJ and Gabe are unbearable.

The best though is Grub Smith. Go listen to the WSOPE 2007 Main where he comments with Robert Williamson III. Grub is dead on, and says some really hysterical stuff.

I said a couple of bad things about Chad earlier in this thread.

Watching the first couple of WSOP 2010 episodes I changed my mind. He got his style, and you gotta accept that.

And hey, that line about Cain, Abel and a Razz bad beat IS epic.

I find Norman Chad funny as well and over the years he knows enough to commentate well. I like that he throws in the humor. But then again I think Joe Stapelton is the best commentator in poker :-)

I had become kind of immune to the Norman Chad lines until LeFrancois (?) busted out of ME and slammed his fist against the door when exiting. Not missing a beat, Norman says "The other door was open" - he got a lol out of me....

I'm a stand up comedian and have been for twenty eight years. I like Norman Chad. He doen't have to be "FUNNY" he has to be humorous. He is not performing in a comedy club, he is putting on a little two man show with his partner. I am tired of the Ramblin Wreck joke. it is what comics call a "callback" joke, when you say something really funny and bring it up a little later in your act. but the thing is, the first thing better be funny or nobody wants to hear the callback. Also with all the re-runs we tend to get tired of a joke after hearing it what twenty times in three weeks?

the ramblin wreck from Georgia Tech. A college mascot or nickname. that is why he'll say JIbowbi went to University of Taiwan. I believe they are the ramblin wreck.

I really enjoy watching Chad.

He's quite funny and, besides what some guys say, I believe he does know poker.

However, his "Ragin' Cajuns" and "Rambling Wreck" jokes are not funny anywhere on Earth.
