Moving to Curacao to play poker

I have been thinking of moving to Curacao, a small island in the caribean to play poker. I have been there two weeks this year in february for holiday but ended up playing alsmost every day since the games were extremly good. 2/5 holdem and 5/5 plo were running daily and in the weekends they had bigger games.
I have been playing online cashgames for 4 years now and I'm thinking of splitting my time between live and online. My question is: has someone been there lately that can confirm that the games are still going daily? I found their page on FB (Curacao poker) and it seems that they have moved to the hilton casino, so I'm not sure if the games are similar to beginning of this year.
Would love to hear about your experience.

just something to think about. if i was living there i would probably not advertise good/soft games so that someone would move there to play professional poker

I have been going there almost every year for a few weeks, mostly to relax but in the evenings I would play poker there. The game is still very good i believe, It's a small island so theres only tourists and locals.
They just moved to the hilton, they have a bigger room now.

I was there last year and have a friend living over there who plays in the game regularly.
Can confirm that the live games there are amazing and pretty much the juiciest i have ever played.
AFAIK they still run in the hilton every day and they can get pretty crazy especially the PLO games on the weekend.
Also the island is awesome so I don't think you are going to regret moving there. Enjoy!

I lived there 15 years ago. Stayed away from those games because I had been warned that they were fishy, and not in the good way--collusion, no one enforcing English Only, etc.
Of course, this is ancient history now, and I have nothing intelligent to add to the discussion.

Planning a trip to Curacao in November. Where is the best place to find a regular game and what stakes are offered?

Very interested in potentially going there with Ms. gamboolgal for some fun, pokerzzz, and getting sunburnt
I did work in Venezuela in the early 90's..... lots of fun times....
Good luck at the tables, and if so inclined the latin ladies. As I recall..... there was some very lovely gals there....

I was recently in Aruba and almost everyone spoke English. Most also speak Dutch, Papiamento, and/or Spanish. I think Curaçao is similar.

Dutch and English mainly, I believe.
