There seemed to be confusion on min-raising. The show apparently was enforcing a 'you have to double the bet' rather than just the standard doubling the raise amount.

Would be awesome if Frankenberger actually accepted Luke's challenge, though it seems super unlikely sadly.

Another very Strange play by Frankie Baby here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z8LhPzMsh4

Think the hand in question starts @ 4.20

Same event but diff game. OP was NL this is from the 3rd leg PL

Timoshenko played some nice poker at this table, which included a previous episode.

Re: Mizzi vs Frankenberger (and Schwartz's epic commentary)

I dont understand why its so terribad to check that flop with trips 7. what do you put Sorel on there kj suited kq aj qj suited something in that range? why C-bet when you have him why not led him catch something is it that terrible check? Now on turn king comes i also think check there is fine as there are so many hand Sorel just has air and folds. Then we come to river thats what i just dont understand your plan checking has to be so sorel can catch something and now you have him on the hook so you just have to raise here. Maybe this is not thinking hsp poker players have but for someone who played poker for 2 years like Frankenberger i see nothing wrong with first 2 streets. Now that QQ hand is another matter there is like he didnt even think about the math

Oh my ****ing god. That QQ hand made me *literally* put my face in my palm. That is beyond shocking. HOW CAN HE CALL HIMSELF A POKER PROFESSIONAL?

Edit: Ignore all that, it was my little brother posting that (lol). Good luck in the future Andy! Big fan! Keep on crushing the poker world buddy!

The Queens hand was pretty awful, but Mike Sexton was waaaay out of line there. No hate to Frankenberger. Seems like a nice guy.

Re: Mizzi vs Frankenberger (and Schwartz's epic commentary)

At the start of the heat with the QQ hand Frankenberger is guaranteed to get to the final table unless he busts first. Ben Carpenter has already busted, so each of the three players behind Frankenberger can only pass him by winning the heat.

Frankenberger gets 2/3rds of his stack in, then gets the idea he's out if he busts and should just fold every hand. (Sexton has 88k with 3k/6k blinds and needs to win the table, so he's likely out soon.) That QQ fold is not the action of a player who knows he's in the finals and is just freerolling for final table chips.

5b/f QQ with 7.7:1? How can there possibly be an explanation for this?
