2.when the waitress comes around and action is on seat X and he or she
asks the waitress to break a bill for her tip (holding up action)

3.when the dealer mis deals and someone at the table shows a pocket pair
that they had to kick in due to the mis deal

4.when people talk about bad beat stories with play chip money online

5.the guy who wears sun glasses at a 1-2 NL game

6.when some random guy acts like he is "JOE" on the waiting list , because he cant wait any longer and steals the seat from "JOE" ( happened to me)

7.the guy at the table who knows everyone and slows up the game talking about his football picks

8.the people who talk about odds after the hand is a 1/2 hr old

9.the person who says "oh is it on me?" just because there 1-2 game had 1215313213 people on the list so they figured what the hell why not 2-5

10.when a person supposedly goes "all in" and sneakily they have 1 red chip

I primarily play live anyway (have to now due to BF), but mine are:

- Yambag who tries to run a regression analysis on every hand; even the good players who know-it-all-up at the table.

- Equally as obnoxious people who keep saying the same story or comment until they get some kind of acknolwedgement. I've found that most casual players/fish tend to try to make small talk with the people on either side of them so if I happen to be one of them, I get to hear about what they folded or "would have had" every hand. My love for their monies keeps me cordial.

- Def. people who have obviously no or very little intention of returning to the game trying to save face by saying "save my seat" and acting as if they will be back, thus preventing one of the 20 people waiting from getting said seat.

- Floors who don't keep their lists in order. Can't tell you how many times I've seen lists ruined by bad floor decisions - for example to try to open a high stakes game with the only nine guys on the list and then have it break within an hour. Or three tables are signaling an open seat for like 20 minutes with eterna-lists and nothing gets filled.

- When a straddle-rock is in the game and the person who wins it won't play or sell it which forces the rest of us to buy another one.

- When I call someone on the river and before turning their hand over they say "You got the flush?" TABLE YOUR CARDS.

This.

The guy who has to lecture than table how it was obvious player A had XX and player B had YY AFTER the hands get tabled, but oddly don't offer any input on hands that aren't showdown.

When somebody tries to defend their bad play with "Well, I know he wouldn't bet the flop with X." when they have no history on villain.

People that say "What? Did you think I was bluffing?" After you call them semi-light. "No, sir. I knew 2nd pair was no good, but just thought I'd give you the money since you are the best!".

That guy who always claims to be notched every hand he loses, and thinks the whole table believes him every time.

when people speak another language other than english and purposely do that to cheat and by the time the dealer says anything, information has passed from one person to another. I'm peeved when it happens AGAIN, and there's no penalty.

When someone gets felted and has to stand there and tell you every single detail about how even tho they went broke, they made the correct play. Even if they are 100% right, it still annoys the hell out of me.

People not protecting there hands!!! especially in big multi way pots where they feel the need to hold the cards in completely off the table up to there face and complain about it whilst the seat next to them has good old eye full or they lift them way into the air exposing the bottom card and slam them on the table and about 1 in 10 times they bounce over off the felt this is the absolute no.1 grievance for me !!!!

anything that slows down the game or taking too long to make a decision. i dont care what youre wearing, what youre talking about, or what youre doing at the table. just keep the action fast.

When people chase off fish because they sucked out em. Most fish just wanna have a good time and expect to lose money. Let them do that. If they lucky a couple times just let them give back what they won. I've seen it time and time where a fish gets called donkey or something because they got lucky. The fish more times than not doesn't say a word and just picks up their chips and leaves.

Or player A calls player B bluff with Ace high. Player B tries to muck, but player C wants to see the hand.

"What did he have?"

Does it matter? It's less than Ace high, so we all know it was a bluff. Does it really matter if it was King high or Jack high? STFU

May be a fun thread...I'll start.

When you're in a weekly tourney filled with horrible nitty regs; you are being quite aggro raising pre and when someone 3bets or shoves on you and you can hear the frustrated guys mutter "mhmmm or uhh huh" under their breath.

May be petty to some but i doubt many things tilt me more than this.

Yours?

Not paying attention in order to act in turn.

When I was a kid my parents had friends over regularly to play cards and dominoes. The wife of my parents friends was an incessant talker and play would always stall because it would be her turn and she would be gabbing away not paying attention. Her husband would call her by first and middle name... "Melba Jean. Melba Jean. Melba Jean. MELBA JEAN!" So when I'm sitting there watching this guy not pay attention to his turn, inside my mind is always... "Melba Jean, Melba Jean, Melba Jean..." I've wanted to say it out loud numerous times, but no one would get it.

Incessant, loud talking. Especially to me. I don't like to wear headphones at the table because there's generally valuable info said by loose talkers, but lately, I've found myself bringing my iPod more often just in case that one guy is there and decided that I'm is sounding board.

Showing cards to another player.

when a player wearing studio headphones makes a bet and his opponent asks him "how much u got left" and he stairs for a while then finally takes them off and says "huh?" "what?" while he is wondering whey everyone is looking at him.

I like to muck my cards into this pre-set board so it's all mixed up, kinda lets them know not to do that. Slows down the game but I'd rather have a correct deal.
If you can get heads up with the dealer, I like bet the flop or turn and tell them you're doing so cause you saw the river already due to their sloppy early deal. This also usually gets the them to quit that ****.

This is even more annoying when this person is both a fish and a hypersensitive douche. Such a fine line to tread...do you tell him to deal correctly and risk offending him? (Yes I know someone like this.)

My worst pet peeve (excluding the obvious non/intentional slowrolls and headphones asking how much is the raise) is people loudly celebrating after coolering someone.
I'm not saying they should feel bad, but calling a 20BB squeeze with QJo for your tournament life after you just limped in, and rivering a jack does not give you the right to stand up and fistpump.

I hate it when at the casino, guys (normally winners) will take an out button, lock the seat for a long time while they stay at the table (normally to eat or talk to their friend or whatever) and then rack up their chips and leave.

If you are done playing, pick up your chips right away, and let someone else into the game. Seems kinda douchey, and half the time I feel the player is just leaving the chips there as long as he can before picking them up to gloat over the other players.

Players leave it there for the extra hour on their comp profile. Because they're the sad degenerates that would care about that

when a new player sits down a couple seats in front of the Big blind and says he wants to wait for the button to pass (even when they can come in for free)

Spoiler:
cheap

also when someone comes back from break just after the button passed him and says he'll wait for the BB so he dont have to pay for the SB

Spoiler:
ULTRA cheap

and ALSO when people order food and then sit out at the table the entire time they eat it

Spoiler:
why the **** did u have the food delivered? the whole point is so you can play and eat at the same time. next time run to the food court

People who call down a three bet shove and a four bet re raise with nothing but an 8 out draw to the straight with two spades showing, not thinking that two of there outs are actually gone, and then hitting a rivered non spade straight against my set of aces and seat 1's two pair... yeah I hate that poop!

Should have been my pot all day long.

Flop 2 k q rainbow.

They get it in on the turn. Its a set of deuces vs. Kq. Everyone ay the table is like wow nicely played. Way to go on that one. Congratulating people on being on the good end of a cooler. Awesome.

- having the dealer stare at me when I win a 10 dollar pot that they rake the **** out of bcuz I didn't tip a dollar
When I get felted because the villain flops bottom set and I flop top two, I want to say eff you and eff poker. I usually say "nice hand" and tap the table to relieve the tension and anger. When somebody says "well played" I know they mean "eff you".

Dealer that stare down player for a tip on a small pot peeve me off too. I rarely see it, but that would effect my future tips.
