Instant pickup? What do they want me to do, piss on the floor?

I'm all for enforcing the 3 man walking rule, but after that point you have to give people a couple of minutes to go to the head or you're going to have all kinds of problems.

Yeah instant seems kind of strict.

This is why if there's 2+ people gone and I have to use the bathroom, or some thing else that doesn't take long, I'll tell the dealer. "Hey, I'm just running to the restroom real quick. I'll be back in 30 seconds"

Once the 3rd person is up, they only get to their BB before pick-up. So at worst its going to be 5 hands (7 hands total minus 2 for the 2 players that are already walking). Can you wait 5 hands to go pee pee? If not, see a doctor. There's always room for forgivness if a guy says I know there's 3 walking but I gotta go like NOW and I'll brb. Just let the dealer know and it'll be ok.

- people who call for set ups every time they lose a hand

- people who blame dealers when they lose and then don't even bother to tip when they win on Miracle suck out. If its the dealers fault the cards didn't break right then certainly they should get some credit for 2 outter you hit

- average/below average players who refuse to chop sb/bb because they level themselves into thinking they have an edge

Mostly:
- selective choppers.

Harrah's Philly has a similar rule. Third person gets ten minutes, fourth person's chips are picked up immediately.Like Suit said if you REALLY need to go and you just can't wait a few minutes for the third person to return or be replaced most players and dealers will understand. If it's clear you plan to just be a couple minutes no one's going to call the floor, but if you're still not back 10 minutes later...

Repeatedly, I see the interaction with the cocktail waitress taking 15 seconds, when folding the hand takes like one. If it's preflop, fold first.

One of my biggest pet peeves is being asked what I had after I folded. I obviously had an inferior hand, figure it out yourself! And if you were bluffing its just a needle.

People who continually wander off and dissapear for long stretches are annoying. Equally as obnoxious is if floor doesn't have the wherewithal to pick them up. Place I play at has a rule where you can be gone for one full orbit but that isn't always enforced. If there is no list, then fine w/e but if there is I expecr relatively swift action.

One orbit doesn't seem like very long. Sometimes. after playing for several hours, I just need to get up and stretch my legs, maybe get something to eat. If it's summer (in AC) maybe go out on the boardwalk and get a slice of pizza. I'd hate to think that, after playing for four hours, I can be removed from the table for being gone more than ten minutes. On the other hand, the place where I often play in AC lets people be gone for an hour and a half. That's way too long, especially when they let half the table do it.

Yeah, it's an angle. A good dealer will treat the mucks as folds and award the pot. Next hand.

Ok. Have to vent a long time pet peeve for casino's with a multi-level parking garage.

People who drive about 1 mph on the first level of the garage hoping a space magically appears. Meanwhile, 47 cars behind them have to wait. I'm looking at you OMCs at THR in your damn Lincolns and Buick's.

Just speed up to the top two levels and there are hundreds of free spaces, even ones next to the elevator so when you hobble to the slot machines to waste away your golden years you can get there faster and easier.

When there is an all in and a call and both players take 10-15 seconds to show their hand wanting the other to go first... ugh

Donk on donk violence where their inability to think ahead causes a hand to take five times longer than it should. For example players are 30 bbs effective, donk A bet the flop, donk B tanks forever and finally check raises for half his stack, donk A hollywoods before shoving with a hand he's never folding, donk B now tanks deciding whether to call after sticking in half is stack with top pair. So frustrating.

Experienced players who forget that it is the donks who keep the industry alive. Their lack of patience and whining inevitably make the game less enjoyable to the newbies and therefore less profitable for everyone else.

2 things I cannot stand.

1. People who say every single thing that comes to their mind. I don't mind talking, but man...some people just never stop and slow the game with their insufferable minutiae. "I gotta pick up my sister at the airport today." "I shaved my beard this morning." Dude, no one is even bloody talking to you, it's like you want to incite a ****storm of horrible anecdote sharing.

2. Badgering the floor/dealers nonstop about an open seat. Poker doesn't need the full table at ALL times to be played, you bellends. Old people seem to be the worse offenders. At some tables, there's a bank robbery level of commotion every time someone gets up.

I don't care what the NRA says, guns should never be welcomed in a casino. Even the most responsible, level-headed, conscientious gun owner could lose his mind and snap playing live poker.

For what it's worth, in NL, there are times in seemingly minor pots where a lot of foresight is justified. After all, your stack is perpetually on the line. Some people, pros even, won't play no-limit. They can't handle the swings.

yeah, I often tank a while in small pots because I'm planning ahead. So it looks really dumb if the other guy just folds right away but it makes sense when I act quickly on the next street.

Now what's dumb is when people tank forever, and then bet or raise, and then someone else raises and they tank again. It's like, what exactly were you thinking about all that time?

I find it amusing when one guy tanks for a couple minutes with a few left to act behind him (OK), then finally folds and the NEXT guy tanks for 2 minutes. What were you thinking about while the other guy was in the tank?

I'm sure it's been said numerous times, but I can't stand when it's folded around to the button who LIMPS when the blinds would most likely chop. Then, we have to go through the dealer putting out the flop, the blind(s) checking, the button betting, the blind(s) folding, and the dealer having to clean up that mess.

Raise your button, steal the blinds, and move on. My goodness, please be aware of the situation.
