Playing in a home game and the guy who is dealing puts out the flop, turn, and river ahead of time and then just waits to flip it.

How about people who hate being there?

Seriously, there seems to be this type of person who confuses the concept of a poker face with never having any fun, always berating dealers and throwing their cards demonstrably to fold, never being able to hold any sort of a conversation (even if it's just "hi, how are you" or even a SINCERE "nice play" after they make a thin value bet and get called or make a hero call and win), etc.

This is supposed to be a fun game. Yes there's money involved but that doesn't give players the right to act like total anti-social douches. At least try to enjoy playing poker!

I'll add one from a dealer's perspective..

While starting a brand new 1/2NL game, every single person at the table has absolutely no white chips. Obviously, the first hand will usually have 6 or 7 limpers. Even if players would bring 5-10 white chips when they arrive, it would speed things up for everyone.

I'm sure I'll get flamed a little bit for not using the search function, as there's probably been one, if not more threads covering this topic. But I haven't seen one, and there may be some new posters, or some older ones that have something new to post.

I'm usually incredibly laid back at the poker table. Im the type of person that enjoys good conversation and cracking jokes while I play poker. But these two things just get under my skin so bad for some reason. Probably more than they should lol.

1)Any time the board pairs, whether it's on the flop, or the turn, or river, and a player who is no longer in the hand basically throws a fit. They say something like "Oh my god! I can't believe I folded my hand! I should have stayed in!" Basically saying all they can to let the rest of table know the would have made trips, without using those exact words.

2)Any time the player in the small blind wins a hand, there is ALWAYS one guy who has to say "You won the deal too! Da hur da hur hur!" It's not so much the joke that is annoying to me, it's the fact that the person who says it seems like they honestly believe they just made that up and are the first person to ever say it.

Anyone else have things that happen at a poker table that just annoys the hell out of them?

Then no more tips for that guy.

My biggest pet peeve is when someone hits a ridiculous card on the river and then talks trash.

I shove all in on J hi flop with QQ, fish calls with what I know is a J. At showdown, after they hit their kicker on the river, they throw their cards towards me and stare at me as if to say, "you idiot, put me all in, will you. I just outplayed you and you got what you deserved for being a dick and putting me all in."

Its for us superstitious souls who've sat through three orbits of TOTAL NON-PLAYABLE GARBAGE. That 20 second delay might result in this fish putting chips in the middle.

As for Op's question, another thread recently reminded me how I'm not a big fan of people using foreign chips as card protectors. Especially in tourneys, where they use a variety of colored chips, you look over and think a player's got way more than you want to tangle with, then a few hands later you see he's got his lucky Ohio State chip. Bah!

I used to hate the deck changes and the washes and the people talking about luck but now I embrace it since it gets people to gamble more + blame luck for losing. Just embrace it people!

We need a special "donk reinforcement month" where everyone attempts to make ******ed comments about luck or hot seats and hot cards and "either i hit my flush i didnt so odds r 50 50 durrr".
