Live poker at Colombo (Sri lanka)

I will go to marina casino and Jim's poker room Colombo next month.
I want to play NLHE. Is this poker room best in Sri lanka?

Casino's web pages say below.

Texas Hold'em up to LKR25,000 (370USD) buy-in Table:
5% to a max of LKR 5,000CAP

Does anyone have information about this poker room?

Currency exchange fee is so high, I want to buy chips by the dollar in the casino.

That 74 dollar rake sure sounds fun.

Google says 25k LKR are 158 USD. You should prolly play higher if you want a chance of beating that rake (cap 31 USD). Still that game better be real juicy.

Thank you!
you are correct. 25k LKR = 158USD.

I think this awful rake system is in fact "rake is no max".

I cannot find information about how much big blind is.
but higher is a little bit better.

30k to 200k LKR buyin tables : 5% max 7500LKR
( 189USD to 1266USD )

You'd be better off playing at Bellagio, their 50K LKR buyin game has blinds of 500/500 so plays deeper. The staff are also a lot more professional.

Avoid Bally's like the plague, while it is soft there is 5% uncapped rake. Let me know if you have any other questions, been to Sri Lanka a lot.

Thanks for your kind offer. I appreciate it.
I live in Japan, so I cannot get any information about Sri Lanka.

Bellagio Colombo seems good blinds for me.
As you recommended me, I will go there.

Can I ask some questions?
Is Texas hold'em famous in Sri Lanka?
Is table waiting long?
How many tables were working?

Thank you to all who give me some advice.
I went to Bellagio Colombo in Srilanka to play texas hold'em poker.

There are good hospitality and nice service.
They have 2 poker table and one table is only working at night from Monday to Tuesday.

Blind was 500LKR/1000LKR (USD$3/$6). min buy-in is 400$
It was slightly high stakes for me.

I cannot get some draw hand, so I lost some money.
but poker table's condition was soft and very loose.
