Yes. It definitely has its target audience. They will never stop making O8 players.

By contrast, my room has a OE (omaha 8, stud 8) limit game that has run every day since the room opened 8 years ago. Only 1-2 and maybe 2-5 are more reliable.

My home casino (Turning Stone) has a weekly O8 game that seems to always have a table. I guess it used to be Half O8 / Half Stud 8 but enough of the bad players didn't like Stud 8 I guess.

Yes. The O8/Big O player pool in the Bay Area is growing, as far as I can tell. Those games run more frequently than they used to, and it's not uncommon to see two or even three tables running in the same room during peak hours.

I played Stud8 20 years ago at Garden City in San Jose and only a few years ago at Lucky Chances. I have yet to play in a room that offers EO (or HORSE, for that matter), but I hope to do so someday.

I've never seen Stud8 at Lucky Chances, and only seen Stud and O8 run at 2/4 and 4/8. The drop system also makes playing 2/4 Stud pretty silly.

Not as familiar with San Jose but I've seen 8/16 O8 at Bay 101 but that's it.

Never seen Big O in the Bay.

I'd be interested in trying to kickstart an OE or HORSE game at somewhere around the 10/20 or 20/40 level, preferably at Lucky Chances. I'm a decent O8 player but not so good at Stud8, I used to play a 15/30/45 (45 on river) game at Taj Mahal and got my ass kicked at Stud8 but I still liked mixed games and wish there were more options.
