I was playing in a 100k gtd live tourney before the pandemic where the Cut off open jammed about 10 bbs, and as he pushed the stack past the line a ep player who folded announced there it goes kind of enthusiastically.
I know you're not supposed to talk multi-way, but will this verbalization really matter?

Are you supposed to say that? No, definitely not.
Are players who complain about stuff like that one of the reasons people think live poker isn’t fun? Yes, definitely.

Why did post #3 get removed? He had a good post.

Because the poster deleted it himself.

That was me. After rereading the original post, i disagreed with what I originally said. I thought I deleted it before anyone saw it.

That's not a big deal. But definitely frowned upon

I'm sure it depends on house procedure, but I wouldn't consider that talking about the hand, personally. Frowned upon, but not against the rules.

Well, I'm not a rules nit, but couldn't this be interpreted as a mild violation to OPTAH, implying that he expected him (the shover) to do that, thus implying a light shove?

Mild is too strong of a word. "non-zero" maybe. Maybe he meant that this guy waited two hours to play a hand and that the nit finally got a good enough hand to shove. Obviously by letter of the rule he shouldn't say anything at all about it, but this might be one of the least egregious things someone could say in this spot.

All 'information' at the poker table matters. But I tend to agree that in a tournament with they type of prize pool involved that it shouldn't really sway a decision one way or another. My guess is that there was some back story/behavior which made the comment even less significant.

Tournaments do tend to be a little stuffier than cash games at certain stages (money bubble, Day 1 last two levels) since it is a long journey, but I've also been at some pretty jovial tables as well. GL
