Hi

I couldn't find a suitable thread for this post, so I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here.

I'm a Norwegian citizen who is grinding live cash games in the eurozone and I'm looking for a bank abroad who accepts cash deposits(bank notes).
I have tried my luck with banks in Luxembourg, but they only accept wire transfers.

My money are currently in a safe deposit box, but I want them in a bank so I can get interest and so I can report and keep paying taxes to Norway.

I can fly to Norway and report it in customs and everything would be fine, but the thing is that I'm more abroad than in Norway so I don't want to pay exchange rates exchanging from EUR to NOK.
In Norway we can't have a euro current account.

Any suggestions?

You could do that at any real bank in germany! No problem.

Not true. That would be the dream of every money launderer.

"Classic" banks like Sparkasse, Volksbank or Postbank usually require a residency in Germany to open an account. Some "direct" banks like N26 accept customers with a residency in other EU country, but I'm not sure about countries like Norway that are not in the EU. Besides that, getting cash on your account at a direct bank obviously presents new challenges since they don't have physical locations. For example, DKB sends somebody to pick up the money at your home if you want to do a deposit. That service costs a flat 30€ IIRC.
