Off to Vegas in a couple of weeks and wondering if my UK debit card can be used at any casino cages to withdraw money.

I can do this in the UK but not sure whether a UK Mastercard will work for that, or even if US casinos provide this service.

Would rather do this on my card since it has a good forex rate rather than carry a bunch of cash with me.

I've done the reverse many times--I've withdrawn foreign currency with my USA debit card--so I can't imagine it would be a problem to do it your way. One thing though: I'd recommend doing it at a bank instead of at the casino because casino ATMs usually have a larger additional fee than banks do.

Yeah, using ATMs (cash machines) internationally is pretty easy and not too bad ($5 flat fee at my US bank) but I'm limited to US$300 a day. Are you just looking to use a standard cash machine or are you referring to some special casino debit transaction?

Until maybe two years ago, the ATM at Casino Royale had a flat fee of $1 for withdrawals up to $1k. I think it’s $3 now which is still in line with most regular ATMs across the US where the limit often is as low as $500 and rarely over $800.

There's a weird thing at Chase where the outside ATM limit is $500 but the lobby ATM (yes, there's an ATM in the lobby) is $1000.
