having grinded low stakes poker for many years I would agree that MOST poker players are trash... on the other hand what does that say about herself that she served as their trashy entertainment for 40 years after they finished playing?

And I guess her paycheck didn't come with the blood all over it at the time she was working Vegas? I find it hilarious that poker player's money is covered in blood but a entertainer's paycheck from mob backed casino somehow isn't...

Annie Duke raises an interesting philosophical question. Does being a poker player suggest you are full of guile in other areas of your life? Do the more successful players have an appetite for mischievous and manipulative behavior?

I def think a good poker player can use those skills sucessfully in the buisness world. Trump even mentioned it a couple of times.
The guy that was on Survior (Jean Pierre) tried it but they just didnt like him because he was an *******.

Unfortunately all those people with barely half a brain do support Joan over Annie on this issue.

Annie is representing poker players well raising more money for charity (mostly from poker players) than anyone else on the show or the history of the show.

With all the legal stuff PPA is going through right now, public opinion is important and this kind of stuff needs to be answered and apologies need to be demanded or the public will assume it is true - regardless of your opinion of Annie.

Not true. Gambling was a fixture in Nevada since the time of the Comstock Lode. Decades before Bugsy Seigel arrived in Vegas. It was legal when Nevada was just a territory, then it was outlawed when it became a state, then re-legalized in the early 1900s.
