Joan w/b 76 this summer I believe and she admits to numerous plastic surgery of course- her daughter isn't as upfront that she's had tons of work to make her look like a freak at th age of 43.

Joan may be wealthy but she makes a living off jokes about how other's dress, about the atrocities of WWII, and apparently a recent act of her was all about making fun of the 9/11 victims and the 9/11 widows. I would assume a good amount of her money comes from her being Johnny Carson's replacement host for so many yrs when he wasn't there.. and then there's the insurance from her husbands suicide.

Someone posted she was funny when her husband died, well he committed suicide because he felt he didn't meet up to her standards, he felt he let her down and I'm sure she didn't hesitate to tell him so. Then she showed what real white trash she is by making a tv moving not long after his death, about his death and she starred in it herself, with her daughter-they played themselves. if that isn't white trash I don't know what is.

So yeh, she may be wealthy but who is she to diss how others made their living- look how she's made hers.

Seems she's been bombarded (too) by poker lovers because she's tried to claim she never called all poker players trash (and it's on film), she's made comments on twitter telling poker players to "calm down", she and her spawn went on The Ellen show to try and backtrack what they've done (and) joans twitter page used to be called JoanRiversQVC, and is now called JoanRivers___. Have to read between the lines on that one.

Also, I haven't seen the Ellen show but others say it appeared from the way she was talking, that she does come back next week. Maybe for only one appearance, or not. Time will tell.

As for last weeks 2 hour show, the juicy stuff all happened in the last 4 minutes.

Between joan rivers and Michael Jackson lets see whos face melts first. I mean she is the definition of 2face. And for her spoiled rotten daughter i could NOT stop laughing when the bitch got the YOUR FIRED stick shove in her kunt hahahahah.

I agree with those who think Annie really dropped the ball on her comeback. Heck she could have calmly sat there and said "top poker players happen to be some of the most educated, nicest, charitable people you could ever meet". Nope she went with "most awesome". I'm sure she wishes she could take it back and say "totally radical" instead.

It doesn't matter what Annie said, Joan is a veteran of comedy and showbiz, she has a quick mouth, she would have come back with something else.

I don't care about her winning the argument. I care about the public's perception of poker. The better poker looks to the droolers watching celebrity apprentice the better it is for us.

If you put a picture of Durr alongside a picture of Bugsy, I defy you to tell the deference. You can also do the same thing with Dario and Al Capone.

In response to Joan bashing Annie....

I know here on 2P2 we give Annie a lot of sh%%, for being sponsored by cheaters like UB, and just genereally douchey behavior (and some ppl think she's ugly i happen to think she's decent for a woman her age and doesn't look like she tries too hard with plastic surgery and stuff [unlike the Rivers clones]).
But does any one else feel this urge to stand beside Annie and join her in giving
Joan and Melissa and all who think like them a great big middle finger (like Doyle did in his blog) ? Maybe Annie's a d-bag, but she's OUR d-bag right? Its like "nobody picks on my little brother but me" kind of thing.

Also, Joan's comments are a classic case of "Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch" (the "show" here being professional poker playing). She obviously has no clue about poker and doesn't realize that if poker players are scumbags, so are real estate moguls, corporate businessmen, advertising agents, TV executives, because they all make money by exploiting others one way or another.

And yeah, lol at Annie's comeback, but in the middle of a tirade it isn't always easy to come up with something witty. Reacting calmly and collectedly is the best thing she could have done for poker and for herself.
