2) The TV industry isn't free of blood on its hands either. The news is entertainment as opposed to informative, reality TV exploits people to fill a timeslot, and the gossip shows serve no use to the public whatsoever. Behind the scenes, you have an army of limitless interns who work like crazy to hopefully one day be able to make a dollar or two on a show.

Im not sure where this 2+2 online donkament stereotype started from but its completely untrue at least MOST of the time.

I play 2-5/5-10 NLH live all the time and MOST of the players I play with on a regular basis are regular professional types/and or business owners/operators.


Ive had great conversations at the poker tables, made friends there, and had about a billion laughs there.

An Oxford dining club it isnt...things can get bawdy and rough....

Rivers has absolutely no idea of what she speaks, but unfortunately is a VERY VERY savvy/wealthy business lady. She bought up half of Bucks county(Pa.) in the 1960s and her holdings there are now worth 9 figures from what ive heard through the Jewish grapevine. She is far, far wealthier than any poker player that derives most of his or her income from poker.....

Ah I ain't gonna watch the clip ... but Joan Rivers kinda looks like trash. I dunno ... how old is she? How much plastic surgery has she had? If you say 0 and you're really being honest and you're actually right than wow IMO but ok. But I dunno ... she was before my time really. (Sure she's rich .... not applicable I don't think.)


Anyway I have no idea what she said about poker and I don't care .... but I assume it has something to do with Annie Duke since she was also on the show. Maybe I'm wrong but either way I don't care. What the hell makes her an expert at poker? or statistics? or math in general? Basically I doubt she has any idea at all even close ...... even if somebody helped her slightly cheat ................ she still has no idea what she is talking about and therefore anybody with half a brain would basically discard what she has to say. Of course unfortunately and as much as it seems ridiculous until you actually have to deal with it most of America does not have half a brain. So she'll just spout off on rants with 0 support and not many people will care, right? Or even worse some people will believe her for basically no reason given that whatever she said is easily contradicted by actual fact.
