What about players that don't see very well? Why not just build these things into the table? What about laying off the acid?

I can barely stand to sit 2 feet away from a lot of these people. I damn sure ain't wearing something that has been on their head . So a place furnishing them is out

The tech nerd in me would have me try this at least once if it came out, but I don’t think it would be something I’d like to play. Even when I play online I prefer anonymous fast fold poker where HUD data is impossible to collect. I hate that aspect of online poker and wouldn’t want it to be introduced to live.

Just joking. It's bad for you kids, so don't do it!! Seriously. It can result in permanent brain damage. Just look at Howard.


If the players cannot see well, they could not read it from the table either. The quality of the AR/VR glasses is quite good these days.

I thought about the visually impaired thing. So for those, one could use VR glasses instead, they have a front cam and can be worn while wearing regular glasses. Another way would be regular contact lenses + AR glasses. In the near future we will also see AR contact lenses, but it may take a while, so you could bring your own "device".
