I never saved any $1 chips (plus I'm only a tournament player, too), but the casinos I did play in are:

...first played at in chronological order...

-Flamingo casino, Las Vegas, NV
-Imperial Palace casino, Las Vegas, NV
-Paris casino, Las Vegas, NV
-Majestic Star casino, Gary, IN (home casino)
-Sahara casino, Las Vegas, NV
-Treasure Island casino, Las Vegas, NV
-Planet Hollywood casino, Las Vegas, NV
-Horseshoe Hammond casino, Hammond, IN (2nd home casino)

I love going to Vegas, but the tournaments at Horseshoe Hammond and Majestic Star in Indiana are enough to curb my appetite.

I forgot two in Las Vegas: Mandalay bay and Excalibur.
Also under Alberta: Cash Casino and Elbow River Casino are separate casinos. And Kewadin Shores Casino - St. Ignace is reported twice.

Re: how many poker rooms have you played in?

Texas Treasure - Port Aransas TX (casino ship) - weird limit HE game: 5-5-10-15. Never seen a structure like that anywhere else. Wonder if that game is still there (this was in summer '04).

Horseshoe - Bossier City LA

All Star Lanes - Silverdale WA
Bremerton Lanes - Bremerton WA
Chips - Bremerton WA
Clearwater - Suquamish WA
Little Creek - near Shelton WA (might have the name of this one wrong..)
Diamond Lil's - Renton WA
Muckleshoot - Auburn WA
Tulalip - Everett WA
Freddie's - Fife WA
The Palace - Tacoma WA
Ponderay - Bremerton WA
Last Frontier - La Center WA
Chips - La Center WA

Capitol - Sacramento CA
Viejas - Alpine CA
Sycuan - San Diego CA
Oceans 11 - Oceanside CA

Commerce - Los Angeles CA
Lucky Lady - San Diego CA
the Village - Chula Vista CA

Wynn - Las Vegas NV
Bellagio - Las Vegas NV

MGM Grand - Las Vegas NV

Hmm...28 rooms...not huge, but more than I thought when I started...

Wish I'd had the foresight to collect the $1 chips...some of these rooms are gone, others I'm extremely unlikely to ever visit again.

26 Total. Guess I need to get out to Lake Elsinore and Pala to start catching up in CA. Great topic loved seeing the chips from the different places. Someone should start a classic chip gallery with odd denominations from old games.

Re: how many poker rooms have you played in?

I'm surprised at all the Oklahoma casinos listed here. Also nice to see an old school Chickasaw chip, though not from Winstar. I collect $1s as well (have a few friend that do, too we try to give each other chips as souvenirs/gifts). But I've been slacking off lately.

My attempt at a list:

Oklahoma:
Winstar (Thackerville)
Choctaw (Durant)
Cherokee (Tulsa)

Nevada:
Binion's
Orleans
The Palms
Gold Coast

Wow, I could swear it was more than that.

(Grand) Casino Helsinki, Finland. No chip to prove it though, it´s been some tournaments. Does any other of you have that casino on your list? What I lack in volume might be compensated by exclusivity?

Re: how many poker rooms have you played in?

Heading to Vegas for the first time in March, so the list should expand significantly. I may also be heading to San Fran this summer, so I'll add some more, but for now:

Foxwoods
Mohegan

Harrah's Atlantic City

Commerce

Parx (PA)

St. John's Greyhound Park (FL)

Casino de Montreal

That's actually pretty pathetic now that I look at it.
