I travel a TON for work (week in europe this month, Atlanta this weekend, 3 weeks in Japan next month), and like to play recreationally whenever I can. Mostly 4/8LHE or whatever is close to that. I'm sure I'm missing a couple. I have a £1 chip marked Stakis Casinos, but not sure where from. Maybe that place in eastern Europe where I screwed up the currency conversion and actually lost 3x what I thought. Oops. Also played a couple hours on a cruise ship PokerTek table once. Trying to play more when overseas - been to Amsterdam several times, but never played there (better things to do ldo).
Am I a degen yet? Dunno. Roughly break-even over the last few years, much better value than pouring expensive booze down my neck was. When I settle down and get some free time, I'd like to really apply myself and see if I can actually get good at this game.
