I actually believe him, the guy posted that he enjoys travelling around and intentionally seeking out new rooms to play.

All of them in Las Vegas except for Arizona Charlie's, Club Fortune, Eastside Cannery, El Cortez, Palace Station, Poker Palace, Sam's Town, and Terribles.

Some of the ones I played at before they closed are Gold Coast, Tuscany, Fiesta Rancho, Fiesta Henderson, Jokers Wild, Nevada Palace, and Silverton

Sorry to hear that - I played there about 5 yrs ago and liked it - people were friendly and they had a limit Razz Game. Maybe that's what killed it

Also liked the Limit Hold-'em with just one big blind. That's huge for my nitty play.

Does Blackhawk still have any open rooms at all? Is it still just limit poker?

Cool thread. I didn't even know it existed until I casually mentioned my history in another thread and someone suggested I come over here and check it out.

I thought I might be on top until I ran into Skip and AnyTwo's posts. Nice work guys. My history is similar to AnyTwo's - travelling consultant who seeks out chips and new places to go. I started in 1991 (21st BDay)

About chips, I collect religiously now, but didn't at the beginning so I'm missing a few of the early ones.. I collect 1$ and 5$ house chips, and also any commemorative chips they may have released. Since I have a ton of HRH and Trop commemorative chips, the chip number doesn't reflect my visit count very well. At present my chip collection is somewhere in the area of $3,000.00 face value. 98% of that is self-collected. People bring me chips when they go places, but I discourage it.

I'm at 164 casino's visited, and poker played in 92 of those. I have a nice spreadsheet with various notes and such, but it rendered like **** in the posting window so I will just list the names by state and include a few bits of commentary.

2) I am sure I have forgotten some, but the poker-played number should be accurate. I lost my tracker spreadsheet and had to rebuild it a few years ago and a lot of the smaller places in NV and CO probably slipped through the cracks. I remember being in the high 170's at one point, but if I can't remember them they don't deserve to be on the list.

Added two more recently - drove wife to her Mom's 101st birthday and stayed outside Columbus Oh - left her sleeping and played at the new Hollywood Casino. Then last weekend played at Hollywood Casino in Perryville, MD - opened card room 4 weeks or so ago. Hollywoods are growing like mushrooms - also all the same - prefer the old gritty rooms.

Leaving in 3 weeks for semi annual trip - this time Northern Nevada - should be able to get 13 more - which will boost total over 450. Looking forward to the Hotel Nevada in Ely - booked a high roller suite . Western Canada in the Fall for 25 or so more. Slow go to 500.

Hit 13 new rooms in Northern Nevada last week end (plus a repeat visit to the Peppermill in Reno). Pretty slow action - lots of shorthanded play. Hotel Nevada in Ely was fun. No game at Cactus Pete's in Jackpot on a Thursday night and room at Crystal Bay on Lake Tahoe wasn't open for the season. Got to Winnemucca late Sunday and found Winner's Circle poker room closed last month. So 12 new chips and 10 new rooms played in. Totals now

Yes, a lot of them have gone out of business, changed hands and/or names, but those are the ones from which I have a chip. Plus Boardwalk, which didn't have poker, but I played some BJ in there on my first trip, and Hotel Nevada in Ely, which didn't have a game going the night I was going through, so I also played some BJ.

Yes, Ameristar, The Isle, Golden Gates, The Lodge and Lady Luck have rooms in Black Hawk. Reserve and Century in Central City.

It's a spread limit game. The in Colorado states that the max loss on any bet is $100, so typically it's a $2-$100 spread.

I usually play at the Isle, their common games are $1/$1 blinds and $1/$3 HE. They apparently run Omaha on Fridays (?).

I think the Golden Gates has the biggest room and the most variety of games, but not sure what they normally are running.
