If you can't make it as a prop, going indie probly isn't for you
Pick the casinos you would want to work as a prop in and ask them if they employee prop players, then ask if they are hiring.
If they do hire props and they are full, become friendly with the floor people and dealers so you have someone on the inside who will let you know when an opening comes up.
